Morte sospetta di una minorenne (Suspected Death of a Minor)

Morte sospetta di una minorenne, Sergio Martino's last 1970's giallo, is a fairly interesting police procedural/giallo hybrid, but it contains some comic elements that I don't think sit very well with the rest of the film. It took me a few years before I managed to get my hands on a copy with English subs, but it's now available on a great looking DVD from Sazuma. Great poster art by Ciriello.

I like the comic elements and think that they help to make the harder edged scenes come off even more effective. One of my favorite Italian crime films of all time! Now all we need is the excellent soundtrack to be released on CD...

I guess we're gonna have to agree to disagree about the comic elements Gary :)

One thing that I don't disagree about is Michelini's score. I'd love to see his score for Anna, Quel Particolare Piacere released on CD as well.

Yep, Anna is another top score that really needs to be released. Here's hoping the master tapes still exist for these!
